"I dozed off".Fishing boat stranded on the seashore rock in Aging Island, Wando-gun

At around 10:30 a.m. today, a report was received by the situation room of the Wando Coast Guard that a 69-ton offshore fishing boat had run aground on the rocks of Bukgori, Aging-eup, Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do.

The Wando Coast Guard dispatched patrol boats, coastal rescue boats, and Wando rescue teams to ensure the safety of seven crew members and moved the accident fishing boats to safety.

The Coast Guard believes that the accident occurred due to negligence in operation based on the captain's statement that "he was drowsy during the automatic steering and crashed into the rocks of the seashore."
