A patient with a 'wrist amputation' in Sunchang, Jeollabuk-do, was transferred to Suwon after a 270km hit and run.

A patient whose wrist was amputated in an accident in Sunchang, Jeollabuk-do, was transferred to Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do in 9 hours and 30 minutes after failing to find a hospital to be treated.


The Jeonbuk Fire Department said at around 11 a.m. today (8th), a 62-year-old man who was repairing a river in Paldeok-myeon, Sunchang-gun, overturned and fell 4 meters down.A man whose left wrist was amputated and his left shin bone broken in an accident called
was rushed to Chonnam National University Hospital, but he was transferred back to Jeonju Soo Hospital by fire helicopter when the surgery was difficult due to hospital conditions such as treatment of other emergency patients.

However, it was difficult to operate at Sui Hospital, so he was eventually transferred back to Ajou University Hospital in Suwon, 270 kilometers away.
