Spotify "K-Pop Streaming Up 362% In Five Years"

As K-pop gained international popularity, it also showed rapid growth in the world's largest music platform "Spotify."

According to Spotify's tally, the number of K-pop songs played last year was up 182 percent in the U.S. alone and 362 percent globally compared to 2018.

Park Jung-joo, general manager of Spotify Korea's music team, said K-pop has a great influence worldwide and is connected to fans around the world.
