Zelensky "chance to end the war by next year"... appeal for support for "winning plan"

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed for support at a meeting with the leaders of Eastern and Southern Europe, saying he had the opportunity to end the war with Russia by next year.

"In October, November and December, there is a real opportunity to turn the current situation into peace and long-term stability," Zelensky said at the third Ukraine-East and Southern European Summit in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on the 9th local time.

However, it did not specifically mention what the word "opportunity" means.

"The first step in the winning plan is to join NATO," Zelensky told reporters after the summit.

Ukraine will announce its victory plan at a meeting of 50 countries at the U.S. Air Force Base in Ramstein, Germany, on the 12th.
