A taxi driver in Incheon mistook a 50,000 won bill for a 5,000 won bill and left a customer who paid more for a taxi, sparking controversy.

Recently, an online community posted an article titled "Look at Incheon taxi drivers."

Author A began his article by saying, "An elderly man who came to his home country after 20 years from Hawaii took a taxi from Incheon International Airport to Juan Station around 7 p.m. on the 10th."

According to the article, the taxi fare was about 51,000 won, but the elderly who visited their home country for the first time in a long time mistook the 50,000 won bill as the previous 5,000 won bill and paid 11 50,000 won bills to the driver.

He paid 550,000 won for the taxi, more than 10 times the 51,000 won.
