A group of people accused of trying to smuggle and distribute a large amount of "ketamine," a drug commonly distributed in clubs, from the United States has been caught.

He was immediately caught by the police disguised as a buyer while trying to sell a dose that could administer nearly 60,000 people at a time.

A man with a red bag gets into a black car.

There was a police officer waiting in the vehicle pretending to buy drugs.

When I grabbed the sales book, I found that there was 1.7 kilograms of ketamine in the bag.

The bag alone was worth 4 billion won, 57,000 people, and the amount of additional confiscated was enough to be administered by 60,000 people at the same time.

Ketamine has long been considered a headache for its widespread distribution, mainly in clubs.

However, when the police investigated, it was confirmed that the suspects sneaked the 'ketamine' from the United States.

Both the chief and the distribution book had a wrong connection in the United States.

[Male Shin / Head of the Drug Crime Investigation Division 1 of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency: We tried to contact the overseas chief continuously. The chief contacted us that he wanted to dispose of some ketamine in bulk, so we pretended to be buyers and proceeded with a disguised transaction.]

In addition, one of the main offenders was found to have already been placed on a red list by the prosecution for smuggling methamphetamine.

Police arrested three people, including distribution books, and also caught 11 people who bought drugs from them.

In addition to their overseas counterparts, police are also red-checking and tracking domestic ones who fled to the Philippines.
