Police have arrested a man who hit a patrol car while driving drunk with a weapon and a three-tiered pole.
Gwanak Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 30s on charges of drunk driving and obstructing the execution of special officials.
Mr. A drove drunk in Sadang-dong, Seoul at around 1:30 p.m. yesterday (17th) and ignored the police's request to stop the vehicle after receiving a report of a threatened driver.
It was found that A drove about 7km to Sillim-dong and stopped after hitting a patrol car.
According to a police investigation, A's blood alcohol level was at the level of license suspension.
While it is said that A carried a weapon and a three-tiered pole for self-defense and stated that he did not see the police's request for suspension, the police will seek an arrest warrant today.
