In January, the listing of spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) was approved, followed by options trading for these ETFs.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved the listing of spot bitcoin ETF options on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Reuters and others reported.

An option is the right to buy or sell an asset at a certain price in the future, and a bitcoin ETF option is a product that trades the right to buy or sell bitcoin ETFs at a certain price in the future.

As a result, access to the bitcoin market will improve and institutional investors' investment will be boosted.

Recently, Bitcoin has continued to rise ahead of the U.S. presidential election.

Yesterday afternoon, US Eastern Time, the price of each bitcoin was trading at $68,295, up 1.39% from a day earlier.

Bloomberg analyzed, "optimism is growing as expectations are rising that whoever wins the presidential election next month will be virtual currency-friendly."
