Yesterday (19th) evening, electricity was cut off in Galmae-ri, Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do.

About 2,000 residents suffered from inconvenience because there was no electricity supply to the two apartment complexes for about 50 minutes.

There is a cloud of smoke rising through the building.

Beyond the smoke, only the warning lights of the patrol car can be seen dimly.

A fire broke out at around 4:30 p.m. yesterday in a one-story house in Oncheon-dong, Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do.

The fire was extinguished in 30 minutes and fortunately, no one was injured as the residents of the house were evacuated.

Yesterday evening, a woman in her 60s was reported to have fallen into the sea on a rock near Bangjukpo Beach in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province.

The woman, who was found 30 minutes later, was taken to the hospital in cardiac arrest, but eventually died.

The Coast Guard believes that the dead woman climbed a rock to fish with her group and was swept away by the waves and crashed into the sea.
