[Network] Gangwon Office of Education delivers a letter of appreciation to singer Insooni...Contributions to the Development of Multicultural Education

Singer Insooni, who establishes and operates an alternative school for students from multicultural families in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do, received a letter of appreciation from the Gangwon Office of Education.

The Gangwon Provincial Office of Education said it delivered a letter of appreciation to Insooni, the chairman of Hamill School, in recognition of his contribution to the development of multicultural education.

Hamill School is a middle school curriculum established in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do in 2013, educating students from various migration and cultural backgrounds in 12 countries, and has produced more than 80 graduates so far.

In particular, Hamill of Hamill School contains Insooni's wish to give bright hope to children from multicultural families in pure Korean, which means "clear sky after rain."

Insooni, who received a letter of appreciation, promised to create an educational environment where children from multicultural families can play a role in our society, saying that Hamill School, which started with six students 10 years ago, has grown into a representative multicultural education school.
