Typhoon No. 20 "Ta-mi" is heading to Vietnam...South Sea wave over the weekend ↑

The 20th typhoon 'Tjami', which hit the Philippines, is expected to head to Vietnam.

The Korea Meteorological Administration says Typhoon No. 20 will pass through the northern Philippines and then move westward, developing into an intensity "river," but will weaken back to mid-level forces in northeastern Vietnam.

There will be no direct impact from typhoons in Korea, but high waves are expected on Jeju Island and the South Sea over the weekend due to the difference in air pressure between the typhoon in the far south and the high pressure located on the Korean Peninsula.
