U.S. McDonald's E. coli food poisoning damage increases... "75 infections in 13 states"

The recent McDonald's hamburger E. coli food poisoning outbreak in the United States is increasing.


The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said 75 people in 13 states showed symptoms of food poisoning caused by E. coli "0-157:H7" as of the 25th local time.The

intestinal hemorrhagic E. coli O-157:H7 is an E. coli strain detected in the 'Quarter Founder' hamburger and can cause serious illness.

Twenty-two of the infected patients were hospitalized, and one elderly person died.

Health authorities have estimated the onions used in the Quarter Pounder hamburgers as pollutants and are conducting an accurate epidemiological investigation.
