POSCO Group is pushing to build a comprehensive steel mill with an annual production capacity of 5 million tons in India, where demand for steel is soaring.
POSCO signed a business agreement with JSW Group, India's No. 1 steelmaker, in Mumbai, India, to cooperate in the field of secondary battery materials and renewable energy along with the joint construction of the steel mill.
POSCO said it will strengthen its position in the Indian market, which is the largest population and has great growth potential, through strategic cooperation with JSW Group.
