Four U.S. Big Tech Companies Invest KRW 288 Trillion in AI This Year

Four major U.S. big tech companies are expected to invest 288 trillion won in artificial intelligence and AI facilities this year.

According to the Financial Times on the 1st of local time, Citigroup predicted that the total facility investment of Microsoft, Meta Platforms, Amazon, and Alphabet this year will reach $29 billion, up 42% from last year, and about 288.5 trillion won in our money.

About 80% of them are expected to be put into the data center sector.

These companies say Generative AI helps them advance their core services and keep operating costs under control, and Microsoft and Google's growth in the cloud sector is also a supporting factor.
