Han Ki-ho, a member of the People's Power, corrected his remarks and apologized, saying that Kim Byung-joo of the Democratic Party of Korea misrepresented the area where he was dispatched when he was a soldier.

In his statement, a lawmaker said, "Kim's remarks about his dispatch to the India-Pakistan conflict zone were incorrect."

He also explained that lawmaker Kim's remarks that he had been to Iraq overlooked the fact that the U.S. Central Command, which led the Iraq war, was not stationed in Iraq.

However, he argued that the essence was that Representative Kim also sent troops without the consent of the National Assembly when he was a major and lieutenant colonel, and that it was not the essence of which country he went to.

He added that his remarks were aimed at correcting the Democratic Party's insistence that all military dispatch should be approved by the National Assembly.
