It was revealed that a woman in her 20s, who caused an eight-car collision while driving in the middle of Gangnam, Seoul without a license, talked to her mother shortly after the accident.
Unlicensed driver A called his mother and said, "Mom, I hit the car! What should I do, mom? Oh no," he said.Mr. A's mother said, "Don't touch it, turn it off," on
, but Mr. A said, "I don't know how to turn it off." How can I turn it off? He hit a person. What should I do?" was the voice.
According to the police, A has learned to drive at a driving academy, but has never obtained a license. A was also found to have made a statement, saying, "I've been behind the wheel a few times before the accident."
Earlier, A is also accused of driving a car owned by his mother at around 1 p.m. on the 2nd, hitting a woman in her 30s who was pushing a stroller carrying her 4-year-old son on the side of the road in Geoyeo-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
At around 1:39 p.m., about 40 minutes later, A was arrested as a current offender after hitting a vehicle one after another in Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, and driving backwards. A total of eight cars and motorcycles, including Kim's vehicle, were damaged and nine people were injured in the
accident.
A has been receiving psychiatric medication and was found to have taken tranquilizers prescribed for insomnia on the day of the accident.
