It's below zero in the mountains of Gangwon-do.Ski resort artificial snow removal starts

With the morning minimum temperature falling below zero around the mountainous areas of Gangwon-do, ski resorts in Gangwon-do have begun preparing to open by starting artificial snow removal.

Mona Yongpyeong, Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do, has deployed more than 90 snowplows installed at five slopes since the dawn of today (6th) to spray artificial snow.

The lowest temperature this morning in Gangwon Province was below zero, mainly in mountainous areas such as -4.7 degrees in Anheung-myeon, Hoengseong, and -3.6 degrees in Daegwallyeong.

After conducting artificial snow removal, the ski resort in Gangwon Province plans to open one after another from the 22nd to the beginning of next month.
