Incheon City has decided to spend 5.2 billion won next year to create urban wind road forests, climate-responsive urban forests, and children's safety green forests in eight downtown areas.
The urban wind road forest will be built on six roads, including Angogae-ro in Yeonsu-gu, Gilju-ro in Bupyeong-gu, and Majang-ro in Gyeyang-gu, and 8.81km.
We plan to plant trees on the side of the road to create a fine dust barrier and decorate the street garden.
The climate-responsive urban forest is planned to be 1.1ha near the Cheongnyang Tunnel in Dongchun-dong, Yeonsu-gu, planting trees and installing various resident convenience facilities, including trails.
The Green Forest for Children will protect students from vehicles and fine dust by creating a 0.3㏊ street green area in Mokhyang Elementary School in Seo-gu and along the sidewalk.
These projects will be funded by 50% of the national expenditure, and the city and autonomous districts will share 25% of the remaining project costs each.
