Police raid Sogang University Law School over 'suspected unfair examination of thesis'

Mapo Police Station in Seoul launched a search and seizure of Sogang University Law School today (6th) in connection with allegations that former president of Sogang University Law School and others unfairly reviewed the thesis to rehire a specific professor.

In 2019, Mr. A and others asked Mr. B, who was an assistant professor, to submit his thesis to the academic journal of the university-affiliated research institute, but he is accused of screening it in a way that is not appropriate for the procedure and falsely submitting a certificate to be published.
