He and President Trump then recalled that they had walked together on a path that no one had ever gone to for permanent peace and complete denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula.

He also said he is very proud of President Trump and the mutual development of the Korea-U.S. alliance, adding that he hopes the Korea-U.S. alliance will further develop into a comprehensive alliance in the second Trump administration.
