He refuted former lawmaker Kim's claim that Kang, who was in charge of accounting, is fully responsible, saying that he was not involved at all,

stressed that he would also actively engage in cross-examination with them.

Earlier, Kang appeared as a witness at the National Assembly's parliamentary audit and claimed that Myung had polled 81 times for President Yoon Suk Yeol during the last presidential election and had been nominated for a by-election by former lawmaker Kim in return.

Amid conflicting arguments over the alleged nomination, the prosecution plans to investigate the facts through a summons investigation into Myung, a key figure in the allegation.
