A night-time search is underway for 12 missing crew members of the Venus ship that sank off Jeju Island.

The Coast Guard has deployed more than 40 ships, including navy and civilian fishing boats, five aircraft, and 200 flare-ups to search for missing people.

The search range has also been expanded to 46 kilometers wide and 18 kilometers long, centering on the area where the accident occurred.

The Coast Guard conducted a weekly search based on the results of the seawater flow prediction system, but did not find any missing persons.

Four underwater searches confirmed that the hull had settled straight and that the fishing gear was connected to the water surface from the steering room.

The 129-ton Venus, which had 27 people on board, sank 24 kilometers northwest of Biyangdo Island in the early morning of yesterday (8th).Two of the 15 people rescued after the

accident were killed, and 12 crew members were missing.
