A series of rallies and opposition rallies were held in downtown Seoul over the weekend to call for the resignation of the Yoon Suk Yeol regime.
About 10 participants of the progressive group rally were arrested after colliding with the police, and the police said they would investigate strictly, including applying for an arrest warrant.

The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and progressive civic groups held a "general rally to step down from the Yoon Suk Yeol I regime" near Seoul City Hall.
Participants raised criticism, especially over allegations of intervention in nominations and President Yoon's public statement, saying that the regime closes its eyes and ears and goes wild.

The Federation of Korean Trade Unions criticized the government's labor policy, saying it does not take care of the lives of ordinary people in Yeouido.
Conservative groups, including the Korea Barlow Movement Headquarters, staged a counter-rally.
They appealed for conservatives to rally, saying they should prevent the opposition party from attempting to impeach President Yoon.

In the midst of this, some participants in the 'regime resignation rally' were arrested for colliding with the police.
Eleven participants who were protesting against the police's restraint were arrested on charges of assaulting the police or refusing to comply with the order to disband.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency issued a statement and said it was regrettable that it was an illegal assembly, such as assaulting police officers, and said it would conduct a strict investigation by applying for arrest warrants for those arrested at the scene.
