Heungkuk Life Insurance's Kim Yeon-kyung, who leads six consecutive wins, was selected as the MVP of the first round.

Kim Yeon-kyung, who is leading the winning streak of professional volleyball Heungkuk Life, has been selected as the best player in the first round.

Kim Yeon-koung received 22 out of 31 votes in the press corps vote, beating Industrial Bank of Korea Victoria, which received six votes, to become the 12th MVP of her career.

Kim Yeon-koung played in all six games in the first round and performed evenly in offense and defense, including No. 1 in offense, No. 1 in open attack, and No. 2 in receiving efficiency.

With Kim Yeon-koung's performance, Heungkuk Life has won all six games in the first round of the V League and is the lone top-ranked player with 17 points.

In the men's division, Hyundai Capital Huh Soo-bong, who ranked at the top of the attack index, including No. 1 in attack and No. 1 in quick open, was selected as the best player.
