CNN "North Korean troops also arrive in Mariupol and Kharkiv"
U.S. CNN reported that the North Korean military, which has been reportedly deployed to Kursk in mainland Russia, recently appeared in Mariupol and Kharkiv, Ukraine, across the border.

Citing Ukrainian security sources, CNN said on the 22nd local time that North Korean military "technical advisors" have arrived in Mariupol, a port city in southeastern Ukraine occupied by Russia.

The source said the purpose of their visit was unclear, and that they were all wearing Russian military uniforms, but they were living separately from the Russian military, using accommodation and food separately.

North Korean troops were also seen in Kharkiv, one of the main fronts in the northeast.

A Ukrainian military official claimed, "As a result of radio interception, it was found that there was a North Korean military in Kharkiv."

The size of North Korean troops believed to be in Mariupol and Kharkiv is unknown.

If it is true that the North Korean military has begun its activities in these areas, it could signal deeper involvement in the war by expanding the scope of its input to the interior of existing Ukrainian territory.

CNN analyzed, "The arrival of North Korean troops increases the presence of the Russian alliance on the front line."

Until now, the North Korean military has been known to have been deployed mainly to the Russian Kursk front line, which Ukraine seized in a surprise attack in August.

The North Korean military is believed to have been sent to Russia in earnest since the beginning of last month, but Ukraine and the West currently understand that about 11,000 North Korean troops have been deployed to the front line.

Since the beginning of this month, it has been confirmed that the North Korean military has been engaged with Ukrainian forces, and the activities of the North Korean military have become increasingly active.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a video address on the 19th that "the number of North Korean troops sent to Russia could increase to 100,000."
