Let's start with how much snow it has snowed so far.

[Reporter]
With a lot of snow falling overnight, 47.5cm has been accumulated so far in Baekam-myeon, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, 42.4cm in Geumjeong-dong, Gunpo-si, and 41.2cm in Gwanak-gu, Seoul.

Suwon recorded an official record of 41.6 centimeters, the most snow since the 1964 observation.

The snow that has fallen since yesterday has not melted yet, and it continues to accumulate as snow continues to fall.

Let's take a quick look at the current snow situation, YTN disaster reporting system 'Idas'.

This is the three-way intersection of Ansan License Test Center.

In Suwon, where it snowed more than 40cm, snow piled up even above the signs.

The snow on the leaves that have not even turned yellow yet, I think viewers have seen it a lot on the road.

This scene symbolically shows the heavy snow situation in November this year.

Currently, heavy snow warnings are in place across Seoul, southern Seoul, Gangwon and northern Chungcheong, and eastern Jeollabuk-do.

Strong snow will fall 1 to 3 cm an hour in this area until morning, and 5 cm in places where it falls a lot.

Since yesterday, a low pressure has been in politics in the north of the Korean Peninsula, and snow clouds have continued to flow from the west and snow has continued to fall.

Even now, the snow cloud is still sprinkling snow as it moves slowly southeast at about 10 kilometers per hour.

The wind is strong, too.

Strong wind warnings have been issued in Incheon, the west coast of Gyeonggi-do, Chungcheongnam-do, and Jeolla-do.

By tomorrow, the west coast of Chungcheongnam-do, Jeollabuk-do, and Jeju Island are expected to have very strong winds of 25 meters per second.

Temperatures are currently 0.1 degrees in Seoul, minus 3.6 degrees in Paju, minus 0.4 degrees in Suwon, and minus 0.6 degrees in Daejeon, which can freeze the current falling snow.

You should pay attention to falling accidents and icy roads caused by heavy snow and strong winds.

It's been two days of heavy snow warning, until when does it snow?

[Reporter]
Snow and rain are predicted across the country today and tomorrow.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), up to 15cm more snow is expected in southern Gyeonggi Province and 3 to 8cm more in Seoul and Incheon.

As much as 15cm more snow will fall in Gangwon-do, Chungcheong-do, and Jeju-do mountains.

In areas where temperatures rise during the day, this snow will turn into rain.

Tomorrow, the amount will decrease, but snow is forecast.

It is expected that 1 to 5cm will fall in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi areas, 1 to 3cm in Chungcheong and Jeolla areas, and 1 to 5cm in Gyeongbuk and Jeonbuk inland areas, respectively.

There has already been a lot of snow, and in particular, this snow is a "heavy snow" full of moisture, leading to broken trees or collapsing ceilings.

Please be careful when walking down the street.
