China's 'Padding City' was selling fake duck fur and dully.

Traders who made and sold fake duck down padding and blankets in China have been caught.

This happened at a large clothing complex that exports to Korea and other parts of the world.

[Reporter] The clothing complex in Jiangxi Province, known as
the padded capital of China', is busy producing and packaging winter clothes.

It is cheap at around 100,000 won per child padding, and the cost is only one-tenth of that.

The design is the same, but if you open the inside, it's mostly filled with fake duck fur.

[Children's clothing company official: There are two rooms here. The design is the same, but I put fake duck fur in this room and 90% real in that room, and I choose and send it when I receive an order.]

Jiangsu Province, which exports a lot to Korea because it is close to the Korean Peninsula.

The duck down blankets made here were also fake.

He also showed a pass, saying 95% of the duck hair went in, but even that was forged.

[Blanket company official: They really sell fake duck fur. It's like selling dog meat by hanging the sheep's head.]

This fake filling was made by grinding the scraps of duck or goose hair.

It's hard to tell from the real thing, but the warmth is significantly lower.

The manufacturing cost is less than half.Local media, including state-run CCTV, accused

of the bare face of the 'World Clothing Factory'.

The local governments in question immediately launched a formal investigation.
