Navy commissioned the 4th Aegis destroyer 'Jongjo the Great' in Busan

The 8,200-ton Aegis destroyer 'Jeongjo the Great,' which strengthened the function of intercepting ballistic missiles, was commissioned at the Busan Operations Base of the Busan Naval Operations Command.

The Navy held a service ceremony this morning (2nd) under the supervision of Navy Operations Commander Hwang Sun-woo and officially raised the service plane to declare that it has become a naval ship.

The King Jeongjo ship, which was delivered to the Navy on the 27th of last month, will be deployed for operational training at the end of 2025 after completing an adaptation training process for actual use.
