Trump Pressures Hamas "If we don't release hostages before taking office..."

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has pressured Palestinian militant Hamas to release hostages before he takes office in January next year.

Trump posted on his social media, warning that if the hostages are not released by Jan. 20, 2025, there will be a big price for those responsible for atrocities against humanity in the Middle East.

Trump stressed the immediate release of the hostages, saying those responsible would be hit harder than anyone in U.S. history.

He criticized that everyone was talking about violent and inhumanely held hostages, but only words and no action.

The Associated Press said it was unclear whether Trump's SNS post was a threat to send U.S. troops into Gaza.
