Political circles of the ruling and opposition parties have been engulfed in the strong aftermath of the emergency martial law crisis.
The opposition party is planning a "speed war" following the joint motion of impeachment and the passage of the plenary session, and the ruling party has decided to resume the assembly tonight to discuss further follow-up measures.

When will the General Assembly of the People's Power be held again?
[Reporter]
It was predicted to be 10 p.m., about four hours later.
Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho said in a lawmaker's announcement that there will be a report on the president's impeachment at the plenary session after midnight today, asking him to attend.
There was no sharp conclusion at the previous general meeting of the members held earlier today.
Representative Han Dong-hoon said at the meeting that he proposed three follow-up measures: the resignation of the cabinet, the dismissal of the defense minister, the reprimand of the person in charge, and the president's demand to leave the party.
There was a consensus on the other two, but he explained that there was a disagreement over the demand for leaving the party, so we will listen to it firsthand.
[Han Dong-hoon / Representative of the People's Power: There were a lot of random discussions by lawmakers at the general assembly. There are many opinions on the third proposal, so we will continue to listen to it, so we say that the General Assembly has reached such a tentative conclusion.
In the midst of this, the uncomfortable atmosphere between the lawmakers who participated in the vote on the demand for the lifting of martial law at the National Assembly early this morning and those who were at the party at a similar time is also read.
Amid complaints that many lawmakers were not able to gather at the National Assembly due to the back-and-forth announcement by the floor leadership centered on the close alumni,
Representative Han
said, "I don't think it was such a big problem," and started to seal it for now.

When will the Democratic Congress be held?
[Reporter]
It's scheduled for 11:30 p.m.
The opposition parties, including the Democratic Party, plan to report the impeachment bill to the plenary session tomorrow morning and vote on it as early as the day after tomorrow.
Following the president's earlier call for voluntary resignation, the Democratic Party jointly proposed impeachment this afternoon (4th) with the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, the New Reform Party, the Progressive Party, the Basic Income Party, and the Social Democratic Party.
This is because the declaration of emergency martial law is viewed as an act of 'insurrection', which is a serious violation of the constitution and law.
The opposition party also held an emergency meeting called "Calling for President Yoon's resignation and pushing for impeachment" and launched a full-fledged public opinion campaign.
He stressed why impeachment is necessary, saying that he will try martial law again when the situation is settled, and let's listen to Lee Jae-myung's remarks.
[Lee Jae-myung / Minjoo Party leader: (They) do not act by the standards of ordinary people. At a moment when emergency martial law measures using force are deemed ineffective, I think they will wage a local war.

What is the prospect of passing the impeachment motion?
[Reporter]
First of all, more than two-thirds of lawmakers in the National Assembly must approve the impeachment bill.
It means that more than 200 out of 300 people should approve, but eight people are separated from the power of the people with 108 seats, so if they approve, the impeachment bill will be passed.
As it is difficult to meet the requirements only by the opposition party, the ruling party is also asking the ruling party to join the impeachment.
Rep. Lee Joon-seok of the New Reform Party told reporters at the National Assembly that when he contacted five or six ruling party lawmakers, he said he had no choice but to follow the will of the people, predicting that there is a high possibility of passing the impeachment bill.
Jin Sung-joon, chairman of the Democratic Party's policy committee, even said he was also communicating with Han Dong-hoon, but Han drew the line, saying that explaining the Democratic Party's claims one by one brings confusion.
The ruling party seems to be cautious from the perspective of the ruling party and the goal of re-creating the government.
However, considering public opinion, it is also true that discussions on impeachment are inevitable, so fierce discussions are expected at tonight's parliamentary meeting.
