China's Panda Base "Fu Bao Inspection Results Normal"...Latest Video Revealed

Chengdu Panda Base in Sichuan Province, China, where the giant panda "Fu Bao" lives, has re-released images of Fu Bao, which showed unusual signs a day later.

The Wollong Giant Panda One Athletes' Ping Base in Sichuan Province today released a video of Fu Bao's latest appearance on social media Weibo.

Immediately after the discovery of abnormal signs yesterday, zookeepers and veterinarians were placed to observe them closely for 24 hours, the base said. "Fu Bao's appetite, movement, and bowel activities are all normal."

"The walking is stable, the limb is strong, and the body temperature, heart rate, and breathing are all normal," he said, adding, "There was no abnormality in blood and urine test results."

"We will not go to the outdoor playground for further observation over the next two to three days," the base added.

However, it did not say what specific signs of abnormalities appeared in Fubao or whether the cause was investigated.

Earlier, a number of videos were posted on Weibo yesterday showing Fubao shaking and twitching while eating bamboo shoots.

Weibo even had a hashtag "Fu Bao Trembling" and fans are praying for Fu Bao's safety.
