Korail reached labor-management negotiations...Rescission of strike from 19:00 today.

Negotiations on a wage and collective agreement between the National Railroad Workers' Union and Korail were concluded within a week of a general strike.

As a result, the railway union has decided to withdraw its general strike from 7 p.m. this evening and return to work.

Korail and the railway union began negotiations yesterday and reached an agreement on the merits at around 3:40 p.m. today after 30 hours of marathon negotiations.

The railway union said labor and management had tentatively agreed to raise wages, normalize unpaid wages, approve two shifts in Article 4, recruitment of staff and implementation of promotion points.

Earlier, the railway union has been on a general strike since the 5th, causing inconvenience to citizens with a train operation rate of around 70% compared to usual.
