Gunpo Sports Club Fire... "I think it caught fire during welding."

A fire broke out at a sports club in Geumjeong-dong, Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do at around 4:30 p.m. today and was extinguished in about 20 minutes.

No one was hurt because the center was closed.

The fire department is investigating the exact circumstances of the accident based on a worker's statement that a fire broke out while welding to remove a steel structure on the center golf course that collapsed due to snow last month.
