"President Yoon will step down immediately"...University Students' Press Conference to Condemn Statement in Front of Official Residence

Students from 16 universities across the country called for immediate resignation in front of the presidential residence in Yoon Suk Yeol.

The National Conference on the State of University Students' Resignation held an emergency press conference near the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Seoul, today (12th) and criticized President Yoon for avoiding responsibility by declaring an emergency martial law that violates the Constitution.

He also stressed that the declaration of martial law aimed at the people for even two hours is a rebellion, and that we need to know that all power of the Republic of Korea comes from the people.

He then participated in this weekend's university student rally and the current situation convention, raising his voice, saying that he will protect democracy with the power of university students.
