Park Sun-won said, "The charges against special envoys Kwak Jong-geun and Kim Hyun-tae are dropped...Protection of public interest reports"

Rep. Park Sun-won of the Democratic Party of Korea said he dropped the charges against Special Forces Commander Kwak Jong-geun and Special Forces 707 Special Forces Commander Kim Hyun-tae, who filed a complaint with the Ministry of National Defense's investigation headquarters on the 9th for their participation in the civil war.

Representative Park said, "Commander Kwak and Special Officer Kim testified that President Yoon instructed him to drag him out so that he could not meet the quorum of the National Assembly's decision," and testified the inside of the emergency martial law, such as detailing the process of 707 agents being deployed to the National Assembly.

At the same time, members of the Democratic Party's National Defense Committee explained that they judged that it was necessary to protect Commander Kwak Jong-geun and others as public interest informants.

Prior to this, Park filed a complaint with the Ministry of National Defense's investigation headquarters against special forces, radiation, counterintelligence, intelligence commanders, unit chiefs, and army chiefs for participating in the insurrection.
