Gyeonggi-do Provincial Government secures 19.1 trillion won in next year's budget...3.1% from last year ↑

Gyeonggi Province said it has secured 19.11 trillion won in state funds for next year's budget.

It is the largest ever, up 577.4 billion won (3.1%) from 18.5638 trillion won last year.

In the welfare sector, it will be used for basic pensions (4.1314 trillion won), livelihood benefits (1.5484 trillion won), and housing benefits (690.9 billion won), up 518.2 billion won from last year to 13.6215 trillion won.

The SOC sector was KRW 3 trillion 159.7 billion, down KRW 152.3 billion from the previous year. Representative projects include Indeokwon-Dongtan double-track railway (212 billion won), Wolgot-Pangyo double-track railway (172 billion won), Shinansan Line (265 billion won), Dobongsan-Okjeong Line (79.5 billion won), Pyeongtaek-Buju Minja Expressway (735.1 billion won), and Gimpo-Paju Expressway (41.5 billion won) in the second round of the metropolitan area.

The environmental sector will receive state funding for electric vehicles (334.1 billion won) and incineration facilities (401 billion won), while the transportation sector will receive public transportation refund (112.4 billion won) and wide-area bus semi-public system (151.9 billion won).

In the case of the project to issue local love gift certificates (local currency), state funds were not reflected due to the impact of the National Assembly's reduction budget.The

provincial government plans to actively respond to the government's supplementary budget plan for next year to secure additional budgets related to the people's livelihood and to stabilize private consumption and the local economy from January next year.
