Healthcare Workers, Major Students Call for President's Resignation

Civic groups, workers, and students in the health care community issued a series of statements calling for the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol.

In a statement, the Free Medical Movement Headquarters, which includes more than 40 organizations, including the Federation of Health and Medical Organizations, emphasized that President Yoon should be arrested and removed immediately as he once again advocated the legitimacy of martial law.

The Better Health and Medical Alliance also announced a declaration of impeachment, which was named by more than 2,000 health care workers, and 160 students majoring in health care also said they would launch related gatherings and support rallies in front of the National Assembly.
