Starting next year, the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education has decided to provide tolls for Incheon Bridge and Yeongjong Bridge for commuting faculty members in Yeongjong Island.
The maximum daily subsidy is 11,000 won for Incheon Bridge, 6,400 won for the upper road of Yeongjong Bridge, and 3,800 won for the lower road.
Those eligible for support are faculty members commuting from downtown Incheon to Yeongjong School and those who live in Yeongjong and commute to downtown Incheon, except for those who receive Incheon city reductions.
Through the revision of the ordinance this year, the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education added a new category called "Support for commuting transportation in Yeongjong area" and decided to support tolls in earnest from February next year.
Schools in Yeongjong have had difficulty working due to reduced access to commuting and the burden of maritime bridge tolls.
