A social worker who tried to kill the head of a welfare facility for the disabled, who was in conflict over disciplinary action, was sentenced to prison.
The Incheon District Court sentenced A, a social worker in his 50s, to six years in prison for attempted murder.
The court explained the reason for the sentencing, saying that A prepared the crime tool in advance and prevented the director from running away, and attacked him several times, causing considerable physical and mental pain.
Mr. A is accused of trying to kill the head of a disabled welfare facility in Ganghwa-gun, Incheon, by wielding blunt weapons and weapons several times in June after being disciplined for failure to work and leaving without permission.
