Jeonju City cancels the New Year's event...Focus on accident recovery and support

Jeonju-si, Jeollabuk-do, canceled the eve of the day after tomorrow (31st) in connection with the Muan International Airport plane crash.

At the disaster safety response meeting, Jeonju Mayor Woo Bum-ki said, "Please pay special attention to handling the situation and supporting the bereaved families," and let's hold a mourning period instead of an event to consider the bereaved families and share their pain.

City plans to deploy and support one-on-one officials when identifying people related to Jeonju City, and actively review funeral support, civil safety insurance, and disaster support payments.

Mayor Woo said he would pray for the victims of the disaster and faithfully check the situation of the year-end and New Year's accidents.
