Pope "Prayers for Victims and Families in South Korea"

Pope Francis expressed his condolences to the victims of the Jeju Air plane disaster at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province and their families.

"I express my condolences to many families in South Korea who are saddened by today's tragic plane crash," the pope said after a triad at a Mass at the Vatican on the 29th local time.

He continued, "I join the prayer for those who survived and those who passed away."
