President Yoon's arrest warrant for over 30 hours was heard...Court 'Consideration'

The court's hearing has been prolonged, with more than 30 hours since the request for an arrest warrant for Yoon Suk Yeol's president.

The Joint Investigation Headquarters filed an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol with the Seoul Western District Court at midnight yesterday (30th), but the results have yet to be released.

It is the first arrest warrant request for a sitting president, so the court seems to be trying to make a careful judgment.

Earlier, President Yoon submitted a related opinion to the court, saying it was a warrant request from an agency without investigation authority, and claimed that it did not meet the requirements for an arrest warrant under the Criminal Procedure Act.
