Fire authorities said about 13 people have been confirmed to have been injured so far, explaining that the scale of casualties could change.

An informant who witnessed the accident told YTN that a car hit people as it came down the alleyway of the market, then hit the building before stopping.

Police have booked a male driver in his 70s on charges of violating the Special Act on Handling Traffic Accidents and are investigating the accident.
