The power of the people strongly opposed the approval of acting President Choi Sang-mok's motion to appoint candidates for political and constitutional judges Cho Han-chang.
The Democratic Party of Korea urged the appointment of all three judges recommended by the National Assembly, while also setting the stage for the veto of the so-called "Both Special Prosecutors Act."
Both the ruling and opposition parties are protesting, but reporter Park Kwang-ryul reports.

The ruling party expressed strong regret over the decision to appoint two of the three constitutional judges recommended by the National Assembly.
He pointed out the procedural aspect, saying it is inappropriate for the National Assembly, which issued the impeachment bill, to appoint a judge who is the subject of the impeachment trial.
[Kwon Seong-dong / People's Power Floor Leader: The presidential impeachment trial is a matter of great importance to the nation. The completeness of due process is more important than ever in the trial process. Today's decision will remain a false precedent.]
In addition, the appointment of a constitutional judge constitutes a significant change in the status quo, and the scope of the acting authority's work was also questioned.
It also compared to Prime Minister Han Deok-soo, who passed the impeachment bill earlier for reasons such as suspension of the appointment of constitutional judges, and criticized Choi for giving in to the opposition's threat to impeach him.
On the other hand, the Democratic Party criticized the selective rejection as an unconstitutional idea that violates the separation of powers and violates the National Assembly's authority, citing Choi's request for an agreement between the ruling and opposition parties on one of the National Assembly's recommendations.
The president also raised his voice that it is not right for the acting president to reject the selection when he has no authority to reject it.
[Park Chan-dae / Minjoo Party floor leader: The National Assembly's recommendation has already been approved. What new agreement is needed? Acting President Choi Sang-mok should immediately appoint all three, including candidate Ma Eun-hyuk.]
National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik also criticized that the recommendation of the three judges in the National Assembly is not a matter of compromise, saying that it has been negotiated with the floor leaders of the ruling and opposition parties.
Prior to the emergency martial law incident, the ruling party recommended one of the three judges recommended by the National Assembly and agreed on one of the remaining one,
On the other hand, the opposition party insisted on two recommendations to the opposition party, citing the number of seats.
Since then, the recommendation of one ruling party and two opposition parties has been reviewed, but after the president's impeachment, the ruling party has opposed the appointment, citing the principle of separation of prosecution and trial.
The Democratic Party of Korea pressed to push for a re-decision as soon as possible, saying that it would be criticized by the public for sympathizing with the civil war, targeting the exercise of Choi's right to demand independent counsel and Kim's independent counsel law.
