North Korea held a large-scale New Year's celebration in Pyongyang with Chairman Kim Jong-un in attendance for the 2025 New Year, the Korean Central News Agency reported.
At the event that began last night at Pyongyang's "May 1st Stadium," celebrations were fired to mark the beginning of the new year with counting, and Chairman Kim watched the performance with his daughter Joo-ae and government officials.
At the end of the performance, the news agency described that cheers of hurrah filled the hall to Chairman Kim, and beautiful celebrations erupted one after another, creating an ecstatic blizzard in the night sky of celebration.
A New Year's greeting event similar to previous years was held at Kim Il-sung Square, with students participating.
