Four days after the Jeju Air plane disaster, the bereaved families visited the scene of the disaster for the first time and held a memorial service.

At around 11 a.m. today, the bereaved families visited the scene of the plane accident, put rice cake soup and chrysanthemums on it, and held a summary ceremony for the victims of the accident.

The site of the accident was a civilian-controlled area and could not be accessed by bereaved families, but the government and the bereaved families' delegation reportedly consulted to make a simple memorial for New Year's Day.
