Eugene Group Starts With '500 Million Donations' in 2025 Blue Snake Year

Eugene Group (Chairman Yoo Kyung-sun) started its first business in 2025 with donations.

Eugene Group donated a total of 500 million won, including 300 million won to the Community Chest of Korea and 200 million won to the Korean Red Cross, at its headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul on the 2nd.

The donation was organized by major affiliates of Eugene Group, including Eugene Enterprise, Eugene Investment & Securities, Dongyang, Eugene Leisure (Purunsol GC Pocheon), and Donghwa Enterprise (Purunsol GC Jangseong).

Since 2016, Eugene Group has held a "donation ceremony" on the first business day of the new year and donated social contributions to the company to realize corporate social responsibility and strengthen the will to share all executives and employees.

This year, he did not hold an event to participate in the national mourning period for the plane disaster, but only delivered donations to fundraising organizations.

An official from Eugene Group said, "I hope this sharing will help difficult and marginalized neighbors from all walks of life," adding, "We will continue to realize positive social values based on ESG management."
