Gwacheon Police Station in Gyeonggi Province caught a man in his 30s who was suspected of making a threatening phone call to a YouTuber yesterday (2nd) to kill Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea.
Police arrested a 30-year-old man in his 30s at his residence in Seoul at noon today, accused of calling a YouTuber, a Democratic supporter, and saying he would kill Lee due to restrictions on caller labeling.
A reportedly told the police that he made a threatening call because he did not like the YouTuber's usual support for CEO Lee.
The police explained that there was no circumstantial evidence that Mr. A had actually prepared for the crime against Mr. Lee.
