Arriving at the presidential residence in Yoon Suk Yeol early in the morning, officials and police from the Airborne Division had to stop at the front gate.
This is because a large bus, as well as a tightly closed iron door, was blocking the entrance itself. The arrest team of about 80 people
succeeded in breaking through after haggling for more than an hour, but soon after, they met another cordon.
The security service blocked the access road to the official residence with a vehicle and mobilized employees to block it with their bodies.
This was not the only resistance the arrest team experienced.
On the third cordon, he had to face a barricade of security vehicles and even members of the military.
These soldiers are believed to be members of the 55th Guard Corps of the Capital Defense Command, and are known to have been ordered by the security service.
The arrest team of the Joint Investigation Headquarters had a hard time overcoming all the three bodyguards, but in the end failed to arrest President Yoon.
