3 major U.S. stock indexes rebound for the first time in a long time...Nasdaq up 1.77%

2025.01.04 AM 07:14
The U.S. stock market, which had waned since the end of last year, rose all at once on the last trading day of the Santa Rally period.

The Dow rose 0.8% on the New York Stock Exchange on the 3rd, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed 1.26% and 1.77% higher, respectively.

Until the previous day, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq fell for the fifth straight session and the Dow for the fourth straight session.

Santa Rally points to the U.S. stock market rising through the last five trading days at the end of the year and the second trading day of January of the following year, but this time it was only weak and did not meet expectations.

However, optimism is gaining momentum as the Santa Rally shook off its slump in the previous five trading days.

Wall Street experts say the growth engine over the past two years still has a strong foundation, predicting that it will continue to drive revenue growth.
